ABOUT THE SEMINAR
Do you love contemporary cinema and television? Do you have a story waiting to be told, but don’t know where to start?
DROMOS Theatre presents an intensive screenwriting seminar series designed to unlock the secrets of scriptwriting. It equips aspiring writers with essential storytelling tools while offering experienced creators the chance to dive deeper into modern, alternative narrative techniques.
SEMINAR PHILOSOPHY
Our teaching method relies on the continuous interaction between theory and practice. Through a flexible program of 8 three-hour sessions (every Saturday), participants are encouraged to immediately apply what they learn through hands-on exercises. Theory stops being abstract and becomes the concrete foundation for writing your own screenplay.

- Character Development: Techniques for crafting multidimensional, authentic characters.
- The Art of Dialogue: Writing compelling scenes that push the action forward.

- Professional Formatting: Formatting scripts according to international industry standards.
- The Industry: Mastering the script pitching process to sell your work.
FROM LESSON TO EXECUTION: PERSONALIZED FEEDBACK
The completion of the workshop marks the beginning of your personal creative journey:
- Writing Phase: After the seminar concludes, you will have one month to complete your original script or polish an existing draft.
- Evaluation: Within 40 days of submission, instructor Emmanuel Mavros will provide an in-depth, written critique (1–2 pages).
- Comprehensive Review: Feedback will focus on dramaturgical development, character arcs, structure, dialogue, professional formatting, narrative enhancements, and pitching strategies.
