The Municipality of Elliniko-Argyroupoli has officially unveiled plans for its striking new City Hall—an ambitious, landmark complex that promises to redefine local governance, urban aesthetics, and community life. Presented during the Mayor’s recent annual progress report by Mayor Yiannis Konstantatos, the project has been hailed as a masterpiece that embodies the “city of the future.”
A Modern Administrative and Cultural Hub
Strategically planned for construction along Vouliagmenis Avenue, right next to the Argyroupoli Metro Station, the new complex moves far beyond standard municipal offices. Designed by the Alexandros Samaras architectural firm through investor sponsorship, the state-of-the-art building harmonizes contemporary architecture with a timeless tribute to the city’s identity.
The comprehensive multi-use complex will feature:

Furthermore, as part of the broader municipal vision to upgrade local infrastructure, the current City Hall building is slated for transformation into a modern Municipal Hospital in collaboration with the University of Nicosia and its medical school.

The official presentation of the project was accompanied by an impressive visual showcase that brought the architectural plans to life for the public. The stunning photorealistic design and intricate 3D animation were masterfully crafted by Rena Santamouri, capturing the precise scale, elegance, and futuristic feel of the complex.
Complementing the design, the cinematic presentation and direction were helmed by Emmanouil Mavros, under a production by Medea Pictures. Through their creative expertise, the promotional film successfully translated the municipality’s grand vision into a compelling visual narrative that has captured public imagination.
