Following the successful masterclass seminars on William Shakespeare’s “TITUS ANDRONICUS” (2024–2025) and Christopher Marlowe’s “THE JEW OF MALTA” (2025–2026), DROMOS THEATRE, MEDEA PICTURES, and MEDEA THEATRE GROUP return with a new ACTORS’ THEATRE WORKSHOP for the period 2026–2027, focusing on the play “SALOME” by Oscar Wilde, led by instructor Emmanouil Mavros.

Dromos Theatre is organizing an intensive seminar-masterclass designed exclusively for professional actors, performers, and drama school graduates. Using Oscar Wilde’s masterpiece “SALOME” as a vehicle, we move from the simple representation of an “exotic fairytale” to embodying the multiple meanings of the text: gaze, power, decadence, and resistance.
From Theory and Practice to the STAGE – 12 Performances:
The seminar is not limited to an academic or workshop level. The goal of the semester is to combine practical tools to create a complete professional proposal. Participants will go directly to the stage, presenting the result of their work in an official cycle of 12 performances at Dromos Theatre.
Upon completion of the workshop, and provided the instructor deems the result fruitful for a performance, the final selection and casting will take place, followed by intensive rehearsals to present the work during the 2027–2028 season.
